Smart Summarization, Custom Meeting Templates and More!

Happy New Year! We’re starting off the year with a number of anticipated features and improvements for you to check out! We’ve improved a number of crucial flows and released a brand new interface for our transcription options, and meeting notes writing sections. On top of that - we’re introducing smart summarization of meeting notes leveraging Generative AI to provide you with useful summaries at the click of the button. We’ll go in to more detail below!

New

  • Gen AI Meeting Summarization - Pro and Above - You can now summarize meetings from transcripts directly through the Knowtworthy transcription engine. At the end of a meeting, simply click the smart summarize button on either your real-time or file-upload transcripts, and a summary will be added directly to your meeting notes.
  • Moving Folders! - All Tiers - You can now move entire folders of meetings between various locations, from My Meetings to organizations and vice versa. Organization administrators also have the ability to control how folder moving works in their organizations through the settings page.
  • Custom Meeting Templates - All Tiers - You can now create and edit custom meeting templates from your account, easily saving recurring meeting notes for quick and easy creation later on. All of these templates are currently private to you, but a public meeting template bank is in the works!
  • Curated Public Templates - All Tiers - We have created a number of free-to-use meeting templates available through our website. Here you can select a meeting template you like, and copy it over to your Knowtworthy account directly into My Meetings.
  • Apple Pay and Google Pay Support - All Tiers - We’ve added two new payment options to account holders for easier subscription management.
  • Updated Sign Up Flow - All Tiers - There are more sign up options, and adding new users to your organization or setting up your own first organization has never been easier!

Fixes

  • Some elements of the settings UI would not resize correctly for displays of all sizes. Along with improving the functionality of this page with more options for users and administrators, the settings menus are easier to navigate.
  • We repaired the ability to add timers to each individual agenda items in a meeting. Certain page actions would cause the timers to reset.

Improvements

  • We have completely revamped the speech transcription experience on both desktop and mobile devices. Desktop real-time transcription has been cleaned and merged with file-upload transcription. This means that you can see both types of transcripts in one place and then easily generate summaries of these meetings from those transcripts. Furthermore, mobile real-time transcription now does not interfere with meeting minute writing but is still easy to view, even on small screens.
  • The minutes document has been revamped with improved functionality on desktop and mobile. We rebuilt the navigation menu allowing you to more easily customize your notes however you like.
  • The entire meeting minutes document has been resized to look better and be easier to interact with on very large displays, always ensuring a comfortable note-taking experience.
