Solving an original problem requires creativity (which no meeting template can provide!) but getting to a point where you and your team are ready to embrace the best decision shouldn’t have to be a mystery of its own. This template will walk you through the steps necessary to make some progress on your product vision and choose the best path forward! You’ll find some detailed actions to take and a brainstorming strategy to help you work through any problem you might encounter.

Meeting Agenda
- Introduction:
- The purpose of this meeting is to address one current gap in the product and decide/figure out where to move from here
- Meeting structure - We'll discuss the gap and spend some time brainstorming solutions
- Product feature gap: explain in as much detail as possible, the direction in which you feel the project should move or what problem it should solve
- Individual brainstorming session
- Write out on post-its key ideas, solutions, or directions you think could help resolve (part or all of) the gap discussed
- Each team member shares 1 or 2 of their best ideas
- Identify high quality, overlapping ideas across team members
- Prioritize the most supported ideas
- Home in on the top (3 or so) solutions
- Add more detail to each possible solution
- Closing remarks and vision summary
